Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Putnam County?

There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that lives in Putnam County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Illinois Valley Times.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted of homicide in 1984, when he was 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2019 in each Putnam County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
