City of LaSalle Finance Committee met Jan. 13.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairman Ptak called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Alderman Ptak, Alderman Demes, Alderman Lavieri, Alderman Jeppson, Alderman Herndon
Absent: None
Others present: Finance Director John Duncan
A quorum was present.
There were no questions on the bills.
Finance Director Duncan stated that the audit is on the agenda for approval by the full council. He stated that there is nothing we can do to change or influence the audit findings, so the motion is simply to accept the audit. He stated that at a future Finance Meeting he will have a presentation that will give a more in- depth review of the audit.
The committee voted unanimously in favor of denying monetary donations to the Waltham School Trivia Night Committee and the Central States Regional Senior Baseball tournament to remain consistent with current giving practices.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:07 p.m.
