City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on April 10.
Take a drive through the park and wave Hi to some of your favorite characters as well as the Easter Bunny. Tune your radio in to the posted station and sing along to some family favorites. This is a drive thru event, you remain in your vehicles with windows closed. Characters will be distanced throughout the park and will not approach any vehicle. So come out for a much needed positive mental health drive. Event is free to all, yet monetary donations can be given to the PADS shelter in Peru, or by using the Cash App paid to $spidervette. All donations will benefit the PADS shelters in Ottawa and Peru. Due to ever-changing rules in in all levels of government while batteling Covid-19, this event may be canceled or changed at any time. but we're hoping for the best.
