Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on April 17.
IVCH is requesting donations of homemade cloth face masks to give out to our patients. The CDC recommends that people wear a cloth face covering to cover their nose and mouth in the community setting. This is to protect people around you if you are infected but do not have symptoms. Donations of cloth masks can be dropped off at the main IVCH entrance off 6th street next to the ER.
