Princeton Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 24.
In recognition of the many challenges our community is facing due to COVID19, specifically our elders’ access to food on weekends, and our local small restaurants with dwindling business, we wanted to help both, by them helping each other with your help! A win/win!!
Do you have a favorite restaurant that is still in operation? Are you willing to help leverage donations to them from friends and family so they might prepare a simple sandwich lunch on a friday to help provide a little extra to our seniors on weekends? If you are willing to reach out to them, and they agree, we will do the rest! Let us know who the restaurant and contact is, and we will work with them on the diet and logistics! All you need to do is drive the donations to cover the costs.
