There were two offenders convicted of crimes involving alcohol released on parole near Illinois zip code 60450 during the first quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Illinois Valley Times.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 60450 were women. The younger parolee was a 37-year-old woman sentenced in 2013. The other was a 51-year-old woman sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Tiffany N. Unland. She was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2013 when she was 31 years old. She is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
