Board President Jim McCabe called the Waltham Elementary School Special Board Meeting of March 27, 2020 to order at 3:04 p.m.
Roll Call: Board Members present: Skip DeMaso, Buffy Hoskins, Kathy Jereb Nicole Mertes, and Jim McCabe
Board Members Absent: Jason Depenbrock (joined at 3:11 p.m.), and Brian Shofner,
Also Present: Mrs. Kristine Eager, Superintendent
1. Approve Changing Spring Break: Buffy Hoskins moved, second by Skip DeMaso to approve the changing of Spring Break to Friday, April 10, 2020 through Monday, April 13, 2020 with school resuming on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Motion carried with 5 yeas, 1 Nay.
2. Approve Change in Policy to Temporarily Allow Chromebooks to be Taken Home: Kathy Jereb moved, second by Buffy Hoskins to approve the policy allowing students to Temporarily check out Chromebooks for use during E-Learning days. Motion carried with 6 yeas, 0 nays.
3. Approve Resolution for the Emergency Suspension of Policy Due to COVID-19 Pandemic: Buffy Hoskins moved, second by Kathy Jereb to approve the Resolution for the Emergency Suspension of Policy Due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Motion carried with 6 yeas, 0 Nays.
Motion to Adjourn: Jason Depenbrock moved, second by Kathy Jereb to adjourn at 3:27 p.m.
