City of Ottawa City Council met June 2.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

MEETING MODIFICATION DUE TO COVID-19 Pursuant to Governor Priztker Executive Order 2020-07 which suspends the requirement of the Illinois Open Meetings Act requiring in-person attendance by members of a public body during the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation, the members of the City Council will be participating in the meeting through a video and audio access using the virtual meeting platform, Microsoft Teams. The Mayor, essential members of the City staff, City of Ottawa Media and IT Contractors for live televising of the meeting will be physically present in the Council Chambers, but pursuant to Governor's Executive Order No. 2020-10 and CDC guidelines, no more than 10 people will be allowed in Council Chambers at any one time. Anyone in excess of 10 people will be asked to wait in another room with live feed to the meeting until the agenda item for which the person or persons would like to speak on is being discussed or until the open floor for public comments. To minimize the amount of public in attendance, you may submit a written public comment to clerk@cityofottawa.org and mayordanaussem@cityofottawa.org. All public comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
