The City of Peru is applying for a public infrastructure grant under the Rebuild Illinois Public Infrastructure Grant program. The grant request is in the amount of $4,704,021.88 to be used to construct the North Area Trunk Sewer. Additional funds in the amount of $45,000 to be used for the completion of the project will come from the City of Peru’s Utility Fund.
