Commissioner Eichelkraut presented minutes of previous meeting.
Moved by Commissioner Eichelkraut that the minutes of a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Ottawa, Illinois, held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, be approved as recorded in the permanent files of the City Clerk.

A public hearing was held on the alley vacation request from James Polancic and Gary Miller. City Engineer Tom Duttlinger explained the request. With no one from the public commenting, the Mayor declared the hearing closed at 7:05 p.m.

Moved by Commissioner Eichelkraut that the Biweekly Salary Payroll of May 15, 2020, in the amount of $424,709.41, be approved and warrants issued.

Moved by Commissioner Eichelkraut that the Monthly Expense Report of May 19, 2020, showing expenses in the amount of $607,716.31, be approved and warrants issued.

Commissioner Ganiere presented Quote.
Moved by Commissioner Ganiere that Quote received from Martin Equipment in the amount of $101,260.00 to purchase a 2020 John Deere backhoe loader, be approved and paid for from the Wastewater Fund.

Commissioner Rodriguez awarded Bid.
Moved by Commissioner Rodriguez that the Bid received from Advanced Asphalt Company in the amount of $1,354,697.70 for the 2020 Street Maintenance Program, be accepted and paid for from the General Corporate Fund.

Moved by Commissioner Less that a Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City of Ottawa and Firecatt LLC, for fire hose testing, which has been on file for public inspection since May 5, 2020, be adopted.
