City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on June 18.
Just a friendly reminder, open burning is banned in the City of La Salle which includes the burning of lawn waste, papers, grass clippings, trees and garbage. Open burning is always banned and this is not a new COVID-19 development. Recreational fires are allowed, however, if the material being burned is seasoned wood within a fire pit or fire place. Recreation fires can also include branches or twigs no larger than two inches in diameter.”
