Analysis: LaSalle pays $6.09 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lasalle Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 85.9 percent of the $997,406 the Lasalle Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $6.09 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, LaSalle contributed $856,765 to the fund, which saw a $62,914 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $140,641, or 14.1 percent, in 2018.
