Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on July 15.
Kaitlin Skelley is a registered nurse who works on our Medical/Surgical unit. She was nominated for the employee of the month award by Andrea Mecum BSN, RN Director of IVCH’s Medical/Surgical and ICU units and Dr. Kelly DeBoer, MD because of her quick work in recognizing and handling an emergency situation with a patient. Mecum states, “I truly believe Kaitlin is the epitome of nursing. She exemplifies the quality of nurses we have here at IVCH and it should be acknowledged for all to be inspired!”
