CITY OF LASALLE: Actions To Combat A Resurgence Of COVID-19

Coronapic

City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on July 31.

Gov. JB Pritzker visited Ottawa today and noted that four more days of significant increases in COVID-19 cases could result in restrictions returning that were previously removed in La Salle County. This would NOT be roll-back to Phase 3 but instead would be the first tier in a tiered roll-back resulting in the closure of indoor bars and reduced capacity indoors at restaurants. The rollback plans are shown in the attached infographic.

What should be done to avoid further spread?

Pritzker recommended wearing a mask anywhere in public, keep six-feet distance from yourself and the nearest person and do not enter bars, restaurants or closed spaces if they appear crowded.

He’s also asked that people return phone calls when contacted by the La Salle County Health Department who are conducting contact tracing which can reduce or stop the spread of COVID-19.

Avoid close gatherings, even with families unless masks are used or social distancing is adhered to.
