City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
With the number of COVID-19 cases rising in both the City of LaSalle and LaSalle County, the Library will be switching back to curbside and/or online only services through Labor Day. Services the Library will be offering are as follows:
Curbside Pick-Up for Library Materials - Individuals can request items by calling the Library (815-223-2341) or by messaging via Facebook. Individuals can also use the online catalog (PrairieCat) to find their items and/or place items on hold if not available. Once materials are ready, staff will call to schedule a contactless curbside pick-up. If recommendations are needed, please contact Rachael at rblomquist@lasalle.lib.il.us.
Online Virtual Programming - The Library continues to provide unique, engaging and diverse programming via Zoom. Program details can be found on social media, website, or via email reminders. To sign up for email reminders, send an email to Rachael at rblomquist@lasalle.lib.il.us.
Curbside Copies, Faxes, and Scans - Individuals can call the Library to arrange a time to bring their materials to be copied, faxed or scanned. Staff will gather information over the phone and give instructions on where to bring the documents for copying, faxing or scanning.
Curbside Printing - Call the Library to get an email address to send documents needing to be printed. Staff will call you when the documents have been printed and provide instructions on where to pick-up printed documents.
Ask a Librarian - If in need of assistance with certifying for unemployment or job searching activities, please call the Library and staff will make every attempt to either help you over the phone or make other arrangements.
Wireless Network - The Library's wireless network is kept on 24/7 and is accessible in the parking lot as well as by the two entrances. Please remember to social distance and wear a face mask, if others are using the network. Login for the network is as follows:
