Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care for outpatients receiving treatments, examinations, one-day surgery, etc., in outpatient clinic, according to established procedures
Education and Experience:
Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in nursing (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; current CPR required, ACLS and PALS preferred; At least three years physician office experience preferred; computer experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to type 25 WPM; accuracy and attention to detail is required; good communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.
