Request from United Way to give a presentation to the Council and related matters.

PETITIONS

Request from Mary Jo Credi of Illinois Valley Food Pantry to address the Council and related matters.

Request from Darryl Stuggis to address the Council regarding a youth-focused, community- focused center and related matters.

Request from the Perfectly Flawed Foundation to place approximately 20 inspirational/motivational signs in the median on Bucklin Street from the alley behind Beck’s Service Station to 9th Street and related matters.

Request from Erin Picton representing Cub Scout Pack 3703 to sell popcorn as a fundraiser door- to-door and at agreeable businesses including but not limited to IV Foods, Save-A-Lot, Caseys General Store, Beck’s and Shell between September 11, 2020 and October 26, 2020 and related matters.

Request from Tom Stevenson of Geneva Equipment for a new street light at Civic Road and Corporate Drive and related matters.

Monthly Police Income Report for July 2020 showing total fees collected of $7,973.03.

COMMUNICATIONS

Illinois Department of Revenue showing sales tax collected for April 2020 of $66,243.37 and Home Rule Sales Tax of $54,550.24 for a total of $120,793.61.

STANDING COMMITTEES

Recommendation of the Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee regarding request from Kyle Thornsborough for a No Outlet sign at the Route 351 entrance to the Country Aire subdivision and one No Outlet sign at each dead end in the subdivision and related matters.

Recommendation of the Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee regarding reconsideration of a request for a stop sign at the intersection of Crosat and Canal Streets and related matters.

An ordinance further regulating “fireworks” within the City of La Salle, LaSalle County, Illinois and related matters.

An ordinance setting the compensation of the City Clerk of the City of LaSalle, Illinois and related matters.

An amendment to the city ordinances regulating the keeping of dogs and cats in the City of LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois and related matters.

COMMENTS

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Regarding pending and/or potentially imminent litigation and related matters: Collective bargaining and related matters, and acquisition and/or sale of city real estate and related matters and the employment, discipline, appointment, performance and/or compensation of non-union and/or union personnel and related matters pursuant to the Open Meetings Act including 5-ILCS 120 Section 2(c)1-2,5,6,11 thereof.
