City of LaSalle Finance Committee met July 27.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairman Tom Ptak called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Chairman Ptak, Alderman Demes, Alderman Lavieri, Alderman Jeppson, Alderman Herndon
Absent:
Others present: Alderman Bacidore, Alderman Reynolds Finance Director John Duncan, Deputy City Clerk Brent Bader, Economic Development Director Leah Inman.
A quorum was present.
The minutes of the Finance Committee held on July 13, 2020 were unanimously approved by the Committee after a motion from Alderman Lavieri and a second from Alderman Jeppson.
The aldermen did not have any questions on the bills.
Chairman Tom Ptak asked if Finance Director Duncan had anything to add and Duncan said he did not but noted the appropriations ordinance would go before the City Council later that evening. He offered to discuss it at the Finance Committee meeting as well as the later public hearing but Chairman Ptak said discussing it solely at the later public hearing would suffice. Alderman Demes also noted the appropriations were already discussed in much greater detail during their June 4 Finance Committee meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
