Lostant Fire Protection Department responded to 18 calls in 2018 - 18.2 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Lostant included 17 fires - 12 structure fires, two vehicle fires and three other fires.

The department also received one false call.
