Allen Township Volunteer Fire Protection Department responded to 14 calls in 2018 - 17.6 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Allen Volunteer included 14 fires - six structure fires and eight other fires.

In all, the department saw $235,000 in fire loss - or about $16,786 per fire.
