City of La Salle Finance Committee met Aug. 24.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairman Tom Ptak called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Chairman Ptak, Alderman Demes, Alderman Lavieri, Alderman Jeppson, Alderman Herndon Absent:
Others present: Finance Director John Duncan, Deputy City Clerk Brent Bader, City Clerk Carrie Brown, Treasurer Virginia Kochanowski.
A quorum was present.
The minutes of the Finance Committee held on August 10, 2020 were unanimously approved by the Committee after a motion from Alderman Lavieri and a second from Alderman Herndon.
There were no questions on the bills.
Chairman Ptak asked the Committee’s thoughts on an IV Food Pantry donation in anticipation of Mary Jo Credi’s visit during the full City Council meeting. Alderman Herndon expressed wanting to hear from Credi first. Chairman Ptak wanted to come up with a rough amount ahead of time and his recommendation of $500 was received positively by the Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
