Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Putnam County?

There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that lives in Putnam County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Illinois Valley Times.

The data shows that the released offender was a woman. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2019, when she was 24.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Putnam County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
