Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
Lori Komater is a nurse on the Medical/Surgical units at Illinois Valley Community Hospital. She was nominated for the Employee of the Month Award by Brittnay Chipman, unit clerk. According to Chipman, “Lori is one of the best team players med/surg has. She goes above and beyond to make sure her job is completed well. I know that when she is there, I will ALWAYS have help no matter what. It doesn’t matter if the patient I am working with is assigned to her or not, if I need help, she helps! She is incredibly caring for all of her coworkers and patients. Lori is a blessing and we are lucky to have her!”
