Tonica home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Tonica rose by $85,050 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $148,000 - a 135.1% increase over the $62,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Tonica in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Tonica for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,722, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
