Mendota home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Mendota rose by $1,250 while total sales decreased by 41.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 1.4% increase over the $88,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Mendota in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mendota for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,366, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
