Marseilles home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Marseilles fell by $6,400 while total sales decreased by 35.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,500 - a 5.6% decrease over the $113,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 65 homes sold in Marseilles in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Marseilles for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,042, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
