Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Brandy Wehr is a Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst in our Medical Records Department. Brandy was nominated for employee of the month from the entire Utilization Review (UR) Department. UR Supervisor, Chris Lamboley, BSN, RN writes, “Brandy is a true team player. She is always prompt to our requests and always does it with a smile on her face. She has gone out of her way to investigate system issues holding up clinical documentation.” Jill Huebbe, RN appreciates Brandy expediting needed documentation for time sensitive faxing to insurance companies. Huebbe states, “We more than appreciate her fantastic job performance and communication skills!!” Tara Murillo, BSN, RN added to the nomination siting, “Brandy personally assisted a hospitalist who doesn’t work at IVCH very often to navigate our computer system’s medical records.” Finally, Polly Inman, BSN, RN states, “Brandy Wehr is one of IVCH’s ‘behind the scenes heroes’! Much of what she does involves working with time-sensitive insurance documentation, which allows a hospitalization, as well as, discharge planning to proceed smoothly.
