Waltham C.C. Elementary School District #185 Board of Education Building & Grounds Committee met Dec. 9.

Chairperson Jim McCabe called the Building & Grounds Committee Meeting of December 9, 2020 to order at 6:02 p.m.
Board Members present at the time of roll call were: Skip DeMaso, Jason Depenbrock, Kathy Jereb, Nicole Mertes, Brian Shofner and Jim McCabe
Board Members Absent: Buffy Hoskins (was online and driving until 6:07 p.m.)
Topics Discussed:
1. South Building: Discussion was had on how the Board wanted to proceed with the disposal of the building. Consensus was to wait for the Village of Utica to see if they will counter our offer for purchase.
2. North Building: Consensus is to wait until the South building has been finalized, either with a sale to the Village of Utica, or a sealed bid. Then either demolish the North Building and sell the land or sell “as is” through a sealed bid.
Motion to adjourn by Jason Depenbrock, second by Brian Shofner.
Roll Call: Skip DeMaso, Jason Depenrock, Buffy Hoskins, Kathy Jereb, Nicole Mertes, Brian Shofner, and Jim McCabe. Motion carried with 7 yeas, 0 nays. Meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
