Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development issued the following announcement on Aug. 27
BeMobile Verizon will independently own and operate 70 locations on September 1.
BeMobile Verizon will be acquiring The Digital Store as of September 1.
The Digital Store is an Illinois based Verizon Wireless Authorized Retailer. They have 12 retail locations throughout central Illinois.
"Since 2001, our goal at The Digital Store has been to provide a first-class Verizon experience to our customers in Central Illinois. We are thankful to our communities for supporting our local business over the last 20 years," said Scott Sylvester, President of The Digital Store. "We are excited to join forces with BeMobile and continue to grow with a family-owned company that prioritizes customer service and providing Verizon solutions for the Illinois communities where we live."
All locations will be part of the acquisition, BeMobile will have locations in:

● East Peoria: 222 WEST CAMP STREET EAST
● Galesburg: 1223 N HENDERSON STREET
● Morton: 959 W JACKSON STREET
● Normal - Bradford: 1715 BRADFORD LANE
● Normal - College Hills: 107 MALL DR
● Pekin: 425 ANN ELIZA STREET
● Peoria – Grand Prairie: 7700 N GRAND PRAIRIE DR
● Peoria – Knoxville Crossing: 10408 N CENTERWAY DR
● Peoria – War Memorial: 2521 W WAR MEMORIAL DR
● Peru : 4266 MAHONEY DRIVE PERU
● Princeton: 219 S MAIN STREET PRINCETON
