Putnam County Public Library District recently issued the following announcement.
Putnam County Public Library District is pleased to announce Ancestry Library Edition is now available for our patrons. Ancestry Library Edition provides a network of genealogical, historical records, and related genetic genealogy websites.
Temporarily patrons have access with their library card on PrairieCat’s Encore website until the end of the year. You can access it under the account and there will be a link under your messages that will take you to Ancestry Library Edition. After the New Year Ancestry may extend the access or revert back to Library in-house use only.
There is also a pdf press release from Putnam County Rotary in partnership with the library attached to this email.
Attached is an image of ancestry logo, our instructions for patrons to log in and P.C. Rotary Release.
