Alderman Demes questioned a bill on page 2 under unpaid invoices for the Street Department for Double MM and LaFarge. Supt. Watson verified and stated that this charge was a normal charge of $1,900.43. The charge was for 14 loads and is for the stock piles reserve.

Chairman Ptak began the discussion for the request from Garrett Mecagni for a Redevelopment Incentive Program grant totaling $5,150 for premises located at 854 First Street. Chairman Ptak questioned the paint bid. He believed it seemed a bit extreme. Power washing and painting of trim on the north side and back two bays. Two bids were from ERA Construction and JNA Painters. Economic Director Inman will get more information on the two contractors before the committee proceeds with this request. Chairman Ptak asked the committee to hold off on accepting the bid until further information has been gathered. Committee agreed to table the request until they get more information provided to them. This recommendation will also be tabled at the regular City Council meeting.

The Committee approved the purchase of a Heavy Duty 4” Trailered Trash Pump. Supt. Watson stated that prices were compared with 3 different dealers and all prices came back very comparable. The department was using 2 or 3 smaller pumps before. The pump from United does not have any hours on it. It is brand new. It will come out of the water department funds. Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

There were no more questions or comments from the public.

Chairman Ptak adjourned the meeting at 6:11 p.m.
