Report: Earlville School District spent $12,949 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Earlville Community Unit School District 9 was up 15.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the La Salle County school district spent $11,193 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,949 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 442 to 398 students over the same period.

Earlville's spending in 2019-20 was 10.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
