Report: Marseilles School District spent $12,245 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Marseilles Elementary School District 150 was up 5.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the La Salle County school district spent $11,600 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,245 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 594 to 523 students over the same period.

Marseilles's spending in 2019-20 was 15.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
