City of Peru City Council met April 28.

A special meeting of the Peru City Council was called to order by Mayor Ken Kolowski in the Peru City Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m.
City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Tieman, Payton, Edgcomb, Waldorf, Sapienza, Lukosus and Buffo present; Mayor Kolowski present.
Others in attendance: Corporate Counsel Scott Schweickert, Treasurer Jackson Powell, Finance Director Justin Miller, IT Director Stephen Rounds, Mike Perry of Chamlin & Associates, Director of Engineering and Zoning Eric Carls Adam Thorson, Director of Parks, Recreation and Special Events and Economic Development Director Bob Vickery
Corporate Counsel Scott Schweickert presented a proposed ordinance entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 6652
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZNG EXECUTION OF A SALES AND PRE-DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN CITY OF PERU, AN ILLINOIS HOME-RULE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND BUILDING MATERIALS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION, A DELAWARE CORPORATION
Alderman Waldorf made a motion the ordinance be adopted as written and read. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Tieman, Payton, Edgcomb, Waldorf, Sapienza, Lukosus and Buffo voting aye; motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
Alderman Lukosus made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Waldorf seconded the motion and motion carried. Meeting adjourned 5:11 p.m.
