City of Ottawa Tree Board met April 28.

Meeting brought to order: 7:00
Present at Meeting; Chair-Brent Barron, Christine Frangoulis, Judy Fenza, Vicki Stacy Others in attendance:
Board Members Not in Attendance; Mike Weygand
Public Comment Offered: Yes – no one in attendance
Old Business: March Minutes read. No additions or corrections. Motion to approve by Judy Fenza, seconded by Christine Frangoulis
New business
Discussed replacing Dogwoods that may be dead in South Ottawa Square
Arbor Day Celebration will be at Central School baseball diamond at 1:30. The tree planted will be a White Oak and all 500 seedlings to be handed out to the children at the schools will also be White Oaks.
Allen Park, discussed planning to plant trees in the bare areas of the park to replace the 18-20 trees that have been lost. Trees in the area from the road to the river are on a watch due to the damage done during the sea wall construction.
Brent will be gone in June-no meeting
