Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) made an announcement for the youth of Illinois looking for opportunities.
In a Jul. 28 Facebook post, Rezin announced an internship opportunity for young adults in her district.
“Are you looking for an internship opportunity?!? Take a look at the image below! #38thSenateDistrict #Internship,” said Sen. Rezin.
Young adults chosen for this internship opportunity would work in Rezin's offices in Morris and Peru. Duties may include community outreach, constituent communications, database building and representing Rezin's office at a variety of events.

Rezin and her team have been busy this summer with a variety of events, including the Grundy County Agricultural Fair at the end of June. The 2022 Grundy County Fair was scheduled for June 30-July 4. It included a variety of free events, from the carnival fairway to the petting zoo and livestock expositions, musical entertainment and the Illini State Pullers Truck and Tractor Pull.
"The 2022 Grundy County Ag Fair was marked as a success in my books!" Rezin wrote in a July 5 Facebook post. "Thank you to those who helped organize and stopped to chat with us at my booth!" Members of Rezin's team were on-site starting on June 30.
