City of LaSalle Street, Alleys, and Traffic Committee met Sept. 19
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairman Bacidore called the Meeting to order at 6:12pm
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairman Bacidore, Aldermen Ptak, Reynolds, Lavieri, Jeppson, Herndon, Crane
Absent: NONE
Others Present: Deputy Clerk Brent Bader, Finance Director John Duncan, Economic Development Director Curt Bedei, Director of Public Works Patrick Watson, City Attorney James McPhedran, City Treasurer Virginia Kochanowski
A quorum was present.
Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Ptak to approve and place on file the minutes of the Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee for September 6, 2022. Each and every aldermen has a copy.
Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
Chairman Bacidore began the discussion in regard to the request to restrict parking on the east side of the 1300 block of Campbell Ave.
Deputy Bader mentioned that only two emails were received in regard to this matter. There was no one in the audience to speak in regard to this matter. Alderman Lavieri mentioned that he did go down this block and he observed that many had their own drives and they were one car driveways.
Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Herndon to deny the request to restrict parking on the east side of the 1300 block of Campbell Ave.

MOTION CARRIED: 7-0
Alderman Thompson mentioned that the resident at 145 9th St. stated that they have no off-street parking. He is requesting for this item to be added to the agenda for next meeting. The residents plan on coming in on the next Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee meeting.
There were no more questions or comments from the public.
Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Ptak to adjourn the meeting. Chairman Bacidore adjourned the meeting at 6:16 p.m.
