City of Peru City Council met Sept. 1.

A special meeting of the Peru City Council was called to order by Mayor Ken Kolowski in the Peru City Council Chambers at 12:00 p.m.
City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Tieman, Payton, Edgcomb, Waldorf, Lukosus and Buffo present; Alderman Sapienza absent; Mayor Kolowski present.
Others in attendance: Corporate Counsel Scott Schweickert, Human Resources Director Kim Reese and Finance Director Justin Miller.

NEW BUSINESS
Alderman Payton made a motion to seek applicants for accounting department position. Alderman Buffo seconded the motion. Clerk Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Tieman, Payton, Edgcomb, Waldorf, Lukosus and Buffo voting aye; Alderman Sapienza absent; motion carried.
CLOSED SESSION
ADJOURNMENT
Alderman Tieman made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion and motion carried. Meeting adjourned 12:02 p.m.
