City of LaSalle Finance Committee met Oct. 31

Chairman Ptak Called the Meeting to order at 6:00pm
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairman Ptak, Aldermen Thompson, Lavieri, Herndon
Excused Absence: Alderman Jeppson
Others Present: Others Present: Deputy Clerk Brent Bader, Director of Public Works Patrick Watson, Fire Chief Jerry Janick, Alderman Bacidore, Alderman Reynolds
A quorum was present.
Moved by Alderman Lavieri and seconded by Alderman Thompson to approve and place on file the minutes of the Finance Committee for October 13, 2022. Each and every aldermen has a copy.
Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
Moved by Alderman Thompson and seconded by Alderman Lavieri to approve and place on file the minutes of the Finance Committee for October 17, 2022. Each and every aldermen has a copy.
Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
Alderman Lavieri asked about Watson’s overtime. Watson mentioned how there has been issues with the aquaphor at the pump station. There is a test pump in and hoping to resolve this issue soon once the new one gets up and running. He also mentioned that Carus was on a scheduled maintenance shutdown, ironically, so this has helped the situation. Alderman Lavieri mentioned that he will be calling a Water Committee Meeting soon.
There were no more questions or comments from the public.
Moved by Alderman Lavieri and seconded by Alderman Thompson to adjourn the meeting.
Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
Chairman Ptak adjourned the meeting at 6:03pm
