Presentation from Brad Brown of Brownfield Environmental Engineering regarding independent soil and water sample studies and related matters following the Carus Chemical fire and potential action related thereto and related matters.

DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING PETITIONS:

Request from Ameren Illinois to break ground at 706 Ninth Street to install underground electric service and related matters.

Request for a 2023 Raffle License from the La Salle Excellence Foundation. 

Request for a 2023 Raffle License from the Peru Education Foundation. 

Request for a 2023 Raffle License from the Lighted Way.

Request for a 2023 Raffle License from the Club 55.

Building Inspector’s Report for January 2023 showing total fees collected of $2,058.06 with total value of construction of $1,526,049.

Monthly Police Income Report for January 2023 showing total fees collected of $5,285.28.

Discussion and potential action regarding appropriate action to take including but not limited to potential rejection of bid for Chartres Street project and related matters.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Finance Committee regarding bids for Project #1 of the 2023 Public Works Facility Renovations project and related matters.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Finance Committee regarding a request from Melissa Busch of Phelps Uniform for a Redevelopment Incentive Program grant totaling $12,500 for premises located at 5 Polar Bear Drive and related matters.
