PRESENTATION 

Request from James Lobraco of Habitat for Humanity to address the Council and related matters.

DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING PETITIONS: 

Request from Ameren Illinois to break ground at 646 LaHarpe Street to relocate electric service to underground and install drop pole and related matters.

Request from Lisa Manijak of the La Salle VFW for a Special Event Permit to allow the closure of a portion of Donahue Street, south of 24th Street, to host a car show from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023 and related matters.

REPORTS OF CITY OFFICERS 

Building Inspector’s Report for February 2023 showing total fees collected of $1,100 with total value of construction of $129,337.

Monthly Police Income Report for February 2023 showing total fees collected of $8,054.53.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Finance Committee regarding a proposal from Ferguson Waterworks regarding the City’s water billing process and software and related matters.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Finance Committee regarding the purchase of a 2023 Dodge Durango for the Police Department following a trade-in of a 2017 Ford Interceptor and related matters.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Finance Committee regarding a two-year contract with Flock Cameras for a camera system covering the City’s major entrances and related matters.

Discussion and potential action on the recommendation of the Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee regarding a request for a speed bump in the alley near 432 Creve Coeur and related matters.

SPECIAL COMMITTEES

Request from Mina Marshall of Sierra Club to address the Council regarding the Carus Chemical fire and related matters.

Confirmation and ratification of a straw vote regarding exterior and interior testing of six additional properties following the Carus Chemical fire and related matters.

DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL ORDINANCES/RESOLUTIONS: 

COMMENTS 

EXECUTIVE SESSION 

Regarding pending and/or potentially imminent litigation and related matters: Collective bargaining and related matters, and acquisition and/or sale of city real estate and related matters and the employment, discipline, appointment, performance and/or compensation of non-union and/or union personnel and related matters pursuant to the Open Meetings Act including 5-ILCS 120 Section 2(c)1-2,5,6,11 thereof.
