City of Peru Finance Committee met Feb. 13.

MINUTES
Alderman Tieman made a motion to approve the Finance Committee Minutes of January 30, 2023. Alderman
Buffo seconded the motion; motion carried.
DISBURSMENTS
Committee reviewed and approved the disbursements for payment on February 15, 2023. Alderman Sapienza inquired about $16,000 disbursement to Justin Miller. Human Resource Director Kim Reese stated the payment was the final piece to his separation agreement.
OLD BUSINESS
Finance Director Tracy Mitchell reported on fire and police pension audits with Hopkins and Associates, and noted the annual fees of $4000 for fire and $5000 for police. (same as last year)
NEW BUSINESS
Alderman Tieman made a motion to approve $3,000 donation to IVAR for annual Building & Care Fund Auction event. Alderman Ballard seconded the motion. Clerk Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Sapienza, Buffo and Tieman voting aye; Alderman Payton absent.
