Bureau County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Bureau County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 223 candidates will compete for 90 municipal offices, including 27 contests for city and village, 19 for park, fire and library boards and 37 for school boards.

There are also five voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.
