The Illinois Republican County Chairman's Association is offering candidate training to conservatives interested in getting involved in politics.

The group just wrapped up a training in LaSalle County.

“Some photos from our Committeeperson, Chairman, & Candidate Training in LaSalle County earlier this month,” The Illinois Republican County Chairman's Association said on Facebook. “Another packed house of patriots who are seeking knowledge that will empower them to help turn our state around! Join us for a future training.”

The next training will be held Monday, July 24 at 19515 County Rd 700 N in Dietrich. The training, organized in conjunction with the monthly CIRW meeting, aims to prepare participants for success in the upcoming 2024 elections. The event, sponsored by the Illinois Republican Party, will feature legislative forums, guest speakers, and valuable information to foster unity within the Republican Party and achieve more victories in the upcoming election cycle. Attendance is free, and a light dinner will be provided. For more information and to RSVP, interested individuals can visit rcca.gop/training or contact 618.525.1855 or belstar@shawneelink.net.

Other events will be Saturday, July 29 in East Peoria, Saturday, Aug. 19 in Edwardsville and Sept. 16 in Springfield.

“The RCCA is working with the local county parties to help unite & train future leadership. We have great regional vice presidents & volunteer leaders in order to better support & educate local parties in proper application of infrastructure & effective government training opportunities,” the Illinois Republican County Chairman's Association noted on its website.

The group offers a lengthy list of events for conservatives to get active in Illinois.

"Please take a look and see what services and resources we may be able to provide to your local Republican Organizations," Rhonda Belford, president of the Republican County Chairmen’s Association of Illinois, said. "We also need your active participation to help keep Republicans involved throughout Illinois. Please let us know by sending us a notification of any Republican Party or candidate event in your county as we plan to post it to our website and Facebook page.

Additionally, photographs are welcome as well from most recently held events for posting to website and fb for all RCCA members to view. Help us to help you!"
