The majority of students in Bureau County schools were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 4,450 students attending Bureau County schools, 76.9% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 17.8% of Bureau County students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Bureau County, representing 77.5% of the student body.
