The majority of students in Grundy County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 12,894 students attending Grundy County district schools, 73.4% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 18.2% of Grundy County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Grundy County districts, representing 74.2% of the student body.
