Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

Chairman Bacidore stated that the request from Nick Ross, co-owner of Quickie Subs, for one to two reserved for customers parking locations in front of the business at 113 Wright Street had been rescinded prior to the meeting.

Deputy Clerk Brent Bader stated that Public Works Superintendent Patrick Watson believes there to be a need for a crosswalk and signs at the location of 6th and Creve Couer and 7th and Creve Couer. Bader was unsure if the committee wanted to send out notices to residents and discuss at the next upcoming meeting or if it is something that could just be done. City Engineer Brian Brown mentioned how he would add the crosswalk striping to the striping program but they could do a straw vote to at least get the signs added. Watson believed there to be possibly 8 signs that would need to go up for this, two signs north bound and south bound for two blocks. Brian Brown did not see a need for two at each intersection. He feels as though one on each section will do. Bacidore believes that everyone sees the students crossing and doesn’t see a need for the crosswalks when we haven’t had them in the past. Resident Dawn Hicks stated that the kids are not seen by all.

Moved by Alderman Herndon and seconded by Alderman Reynolds to do the striping with the advisory of Brian Brown, Patrick, and the Streets, Alley, and Traffic Committee to work together to figure out what would be best for striping and signage on the intersections of 6th and Creve Couer and 7th and Creve Couer.
