Alderman Lavieri thought that there was a bill for a large amount of salt. Director of Public Works Kevin Fay mentioned that they had started the year with an empty shed so they had restocked it. The city does have a good portion still left in the shed. The city had used a decent amount during the last ice storm.

Chairman Ptak did ask a question in regard to the Redevelopment and Incentive Program. There was a check written out to the Freedom Project for $20,000 but Ptak was unaware that the project was complete. Bedei mentioned that the project was  complete and was waiting on a final inspection from Andy Bacidore. He did sign off on the completion of the project.

Chairman Ptak also asked about the status on the emergency well because he did see a bill for about $60,000. They city had to abandon well #4. This is required by the EPA once it is taken offline. The city has not been getting any water out of this well for quite some time.

Alderman Lavieri asked about the bill for $49 bed bug killer. Finance Director Duncan mentioned that this was equipment that was purchased for squad cars for when officers go into certain homes and were notified later that the residents had bed bugs.

There were no more questions or comments from the public.

Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Bacidore to adjourn the meeting.
