According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 145 students during the year. This equates to 10 percent of the 1,477 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for 26 incidents with violence without physical injury, two incidents with alcohol and tobacco, six incidents with drugs, two incidents witha dangerous weapon firearm,six incidents with a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm.
The district reported that most in-school suspension was given for unspecified reasons, of which there was one. For one incident, student was suspended for one to two days.
Boy students received 118 suspensions, while 27 girls were suspended.
There were 145 elementary or middle school students suspended in 2021-22 school year.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 102. There were 26 incidents of violence without injury. For 55 incidents, students were suspended for three to four days.
