The requested records include sales tax collected from retailers from January 1, 2024 till the date of the request. The Illinois Valley Times is particularly interested in obtaining detailed data including monthly comparisons of actual sales tax collected versus projected figures. Additionally, they have asked for the number of active retail locations paying sales tax each month and the names of each retailer along with their gross retail sales reported for each month.
